Thermography is a process that is used to create raised letters and images on paper more economically than engraving. A powdered resin is applied to the paper immediately after printing and then heated. The powder sticks to the still tacky ink, expands and raises the ink.

  • Economical
  • Faster process; requires no drying time
  • No dies required
  • Any color ink can be used

Things to consider:

  • NOT laster compatible
  • Will not hold fine printed detail
